At present, public guided tours are available only in German.
Tours include:
- Historical Tour of the Old City including Krämer Bridge, town hall, university quarter and its wealth of traditional town houses, as well as the cathedral and Church of St. Severus
- Romantic Evening Stroll with the Erfurt Night Watchman, a leisurely evening tour through the old part of the city visiting the "Andreas" quarter and "Little Venice."
- Through Erfurt in Bach's Footsteps during Bach Weeks in March and April, followed by a brief organ recital in the Prediger Church
- Erfurt Tour by 1960s Historic Tramway, including both the Old Town and the well-preserved Jugendstil areas of town
- Altstadt - Tour by bus, tour through the historical city centre and up to the Petersberg Citadel
- Climb up to the Petersberg Citadel - Mysterious passageways deep beneath an ancient fortress
- Torchlight Tour through the Petersberg Fortress, an unusual evening tour by torchlight through the mysterious passages of the Petersberg fortress
- In the Footsteps of Martin Luther with visits to the Augustinian Monastery, St. Michael's Church and other interesting places connected with Luther
- On the Trail of Jewish History, from the Middle Ages to modern times
- Erfurt's Architectural Pearl and Mirror of the Times, a look at the architectural styles of Erfurt's buildings
- Christmas is a Lovely Time, with Santa Claus as guide
