Heidelberg – an atmospheric festival venue

Together, Heidelberg's rich history and present-day vibrancy create an inspiring atmosphere. The romance of the town has been immortalised by writers and painters whose poems and pictures have ensured that Heidelberg is known the world over. Today, the castle ruins and medieval old town alongside the Neckar river form the perfect setting for a wealth of festivals and events.
