Heidelberg's surroundings offer a diverse selection of courses and clubs to all golfers, including those seeking to learn the sport. Recently the golf club St. Leon-Rot near Heidelberg - internationally well renowned as site of the Deutsche Bank - SAP Open once again received the Travel Award of the Golf Journal as best German golf club. Due to a cooperation of the Convention and Visitors Bureau Heidelberg and the club it is now open for visiting groups, as the HeidelbergCard includes a new special offer: a 10% discount for tourists and companies on the greenfee or on a beginner or advanced training program.
