The Romantic Neckar Valley
Take an excursion into the Neckar valley with sightseeing, including a boat trip from Heidelberg to Neckarsteinach. Passing by rugged heights and castle ruins, you will follow the course of the river to the town of Neckargemünd. After your tour of the town, travel to the walled village of Dilsberg, where you can explore the medieval fort. Enjoy lunch or dinner in a local restaurant typical of the region before heading back to Heidelberg.

Speyer Cathedral City
This excursion takes several hours, including a tour of the Roman imperial cathedral. After looking around the cathedral and the crypt and visiting the graves of four German emperors and four German kings, you can visit the former Jewish quarter and then go on a tour through the historic Old Town.

Schwetzingen. the "German Versailles"
Take a half-day excursion to Schwetzingen Castle, often referred to as the "German Versailles" due to its glorious gardens. After a tour through the castle gardens, stop at Schwetzingen's "Brauhaus" bar/restaurant, where you may also go on a tour of the brewery and enjoy dinner.
