By air
Münster is reached by air via Münster/ Osnabrück International Airport in Greven, about 20 km north of Münster. Private planes can also land at Telgte Airfield (8 km from Münster).

By rail, Münster is reached quickly and conveniently via Intercity trains from Hamburg, Munich and the Ruhr region. Offering daily service to and from Munich is the "Luna" Hotel Train which lets you slumber your way to your destination.

By car, one takes the A1 Autobahn (E3) Ruhr-Hamburg, and A43 Wuppertal-Münster. Münster is also rapidly reached from all points of the compass via numerous federal highways.

For water rovers, the Dortmund-Ems Canal, which flows through Münster, is definitely interesting, as are the Werse and Ems Rivers.
