By rail: Potsdam has an ICE rail station. Additionally, there are S-Bahn rapid transit connections to Berlin every ten minutes. Fast train (RE1) every 30 min. in 20 min. to the centre of Berlin.

By car: Via Autobahn, Potsdam is reached via three exits: Potsdam-Nord (Exit No 4 at the A10), Potsdam-Süd (Exit No 12 at the A10) and Potsdam-Babelsberg (Exit No 5 at the A115).

By air: For those arriving by air, direct rail and bus service links Potsdam with Berlin Schönefeld, Berlin Tegel, Berlin Tempelhof Airports.

Waterway: You can even reach the city by water via regular scheduled service of the White Fleet between Berlin-Wannsee and Potsdam.
