Electoral Palace

The "TrierTour" is another tourist attraction in Trier. The special feature about this sightseeing tour is that you can choose any one of the 16 bus stops from which to begin your trip, as well as break off your journey along the way to look at the sights. You can spend as much time at as you want at any given site.


Bus route: Porta Nigra - Zurlauben river bank - Old cranes - Roman bridge - Barbara Baths - Suedallee - Imperial Baths - Electoral Palace - Basilika - Wine Information Trail - Petrisberg - Olewig (Brettenbach) - Olewig (Auf der Ayl) - Amphitheatre - Imperial Bath - Kaiserstrasse - Karl-Marx-Haus - Nikolaus-Koch-Platz - Porta Nigra

Departure times:
Air-conditioned buses run every 30 minutes;
you can spend the whole day going from one sight to another (April 1 to October 6, every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)


Duration:
It takes about one hour to do the complete tour without getting off to visit any sights. We recommend that you visit just some of the sights en route, since it would take about 5 hours to see everything.

Price:
With buses running every 30 minutes, you can spend the whole day going from one site to another - and all for just € 5.60 (children from 6 - 14: € 2.80).

Includes free travel on all regular city bus routes (buses from Stadtwerke Trier).

Tourist-Information Trier, at the city bus center (Stadtwerke Trier), and on the TrierTour buses themselves.
