Groups can book a city tour, hike or excursion at any time through Tourist Information Trier. We can offer you a wealth of sightseeing possibilities for the city of Trier: general tours or tours with definite themes. Furthermore, Trier is a good starting point for hikes or excursions. Here, we have also put together some offers for you.

Booking
It is advisable to book a city tour or guide as early as possible, as in some months our schedules are very full. The booking must be in writing (by letter, fax or e-mail).

Scheduling
Please take careful note of the opening hours of the monuments, museums and churches when you schedule your tour.

Group Size and Composition
For walking tours we stipulate a maximum of 35 participants per tour guide; for coach tours (in your own coach), one guide per coach. If, during your coach tour, you plan inside visits or periods of walking, a t least 2 tour guides are required for a group of more than 35 participants.
More than one school class per tour guide cannot be accepted. Our well-trained team of guides can accommodate any age group, be it children, school groups, or adults, experts or interested lay persons, junior or senior citizens. Please inform us about the composition of your group.

Fee (subject to change):
The fee per guide for up to 2 hours is € 55.00 for a tour in German or € 65.00 in a foreign language; for each hour begun thereafter € 25.00.
The fee for all-day excursions (8 hours, for example: 9 a.m - 5 p.m.) is € 150.00.
Remittance is to be in cash to the guide. If you wish to be billed, we levy a surcharge for each tour of € 5.00 or € 12.50 for foreign bank charges.
