The Central Rhine Museum exhibits paintings and sculptures from 12th to 20th century.
Old "Kauf- und Danzhaus" (shop and dance house): Built in 1419 and 1530 respectively, they form with the adjoining lay jurists house one of the most beautiful groups of buildings in the Old Town. The figure (1726) beneath the tower clock, the "eye-roller," is said to commemorate a legendary robber knight wrongly convicted and hanged in 1536.
